Beauty

Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been gone for a while here. My life has been pretty hectic lately.

I miss you guys :(

Anyways, though, I thought I should let you know how beautiful and loved each one of you are.

I absolutely despise society’s definition of beauty. Because it’s outrageous and wrong and disgraceful. Society dictates that you have to be skinny and made-up in order to be considered beautiful.

It’s not right. It’s encouraging eating disorders and plastic surgery and depression. We are destroying ourselves by promoting this view.

And, you know what? It’s wrong. Having extra fat near your stomach or on your thighs doesn’t make you ugly. It doesn’t even make you unattractive. The way that you are, that’s what makes you beautiful. Being yourself is enough for people. You don’t need make up to impress, you just need yourself.

And if that isn’t good enough for people, then that’s too bad. The people that don’t think that you are beautiful just the way you are aren’t worth the pain. They aren’t worth the thought.

Having no fat and having some fat doesn’t define who you are. It doesn’t define who anyone is. What does define a person is how they treat people, how they love, how they feel.

And that’s why I can say with complete confidence that you are all beautiful and loved and tough and amazing.

I’m back :)

Sorry for being MIA for a little while there.

Some of my family members are sick right now, so I haven’t posted in a while.

But I will start up again soon :)

I hope that you are all doing okay.

You’re all so beautiful and loved <3.

Sadness and misery and suffering never disappear entirely.
But they won’t be this potent, this immense, forever.
They might not disappear, but they do fade, they do lessen.
It does get better.

It really is.
You don’t have to be blonde or skinny to be beautiful.
You are beautiful just the way you are <3.

It really is.

You don’t have to be blonde or skinny to be beautiful.

You are beautiful just the way you are <3.

You aren’t broken. And you aren’t ruined.
You are still your amazing, kind, and brave self.
You still have your empathy and your understanding and your courage. And these are what make you whole.
You are beautiful <3. And you always will be.

You aren’t broken. And you aren’t ruined.

You are still your amazing, kind, and brave self.

You still have your empathy and your understanding and your courage. And these are what make you whole.

You are beautiful <3. And you always will be.

You aren’t ugly. And you definitely aren’t awful in any way.
Just because you don’t fit society’s distorted view of the word beautiful doesn’t mean that you aren’t pretty. Because society isn’t always right. Having blond hair, being skinny, having a face with no freckles, having no scars—— this doesn’t make you pretty.
What makes you pretty is your kindness, is your empathy, is your bravery.
Not one of you is awful or ugly.
You are all beautiful.

You aren’t alone.
We are right here for you. We can’t be there in person, but we are always thinking about you. And hoping that your day isn’t going horribly.
You won’t ever be alone.

You aren’t alone.

You won’t ever be alone.
